Dr. Kristjanson is an agricultural economist who led and managed interdisciplinary agriculture research for development teams globally with the CGIAR for over 20 years while based in Kenya. Her interests and experience include livelihoods and food systems analysis, climate-smart agriculture, approaches for linking knowledge with action, and incorporating gender in forest landscape programs. She has been leading the ‘Catalyzing Forests-Gender Actions’ project since 2016 for the Program on Forests (PROFOR) at the World Bank in DC.
