Lead Environmental Specialist in the Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice at the World Bank Group
Peter Kristensen is a Lead Environmental Specialist in the Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice at the World Bank Group. He is currently responsible for projects in fisheries, coastal zone management, and climate change.
Mr Kristensen has previously worked on Oceans at global level, on multi-sector approaches to development in West Africa, as well as projects on toxic waste, pest control, strategic environmental assessments related to extractive industries, and climate change. He has worked in Africa, Latin-America, and Asia-Pacific.
Mr Kristensen is a Danish National, and has previously worked with Conservation International, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature. He holds a M.Sc. in Geology with specialization in Coastal Geomorphology. He is fluent in English, French, and Danish.
