Sara Troiano is a Consultant in the World Bank’s Human Development Network. Her areas of expertise include social protection, employment, education, and population. Her recent analytical work focuses on the implications of the demographic transition for social sectors; youth employment programs, and innovation policies. In her previous assignments at the World Bank, Sara worked on various social protection and education projects in Latin America and Africa, and was on field assignment in Argentina. Sara holds a Bachelor in International Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, an MSc in International Finance and Development from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and an MSc in Demography and Sociology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
