Saurabh is a data scientist, economist and engineer. He has written over 30 papers on economic policy. He served at the World Bank (including South Asia, East Asia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, International Trade, Open Data and Open Government Departments) and International Monetary Fund (Research and Africa Departments) on versatile operations, strategies and research for over eight years. He has also consulted with many private and public organizations including the World Trade Organization (WTO), Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and International Finance Corporation (IFC). He regularly advises investors and entrepreneurs across the Silicon Valley, Washington DC and Emerging Markets.
He finished his BA in Economics and MS in Applied Economics and Finance at the University of California Santa Cruz. He is a PhD candidate in Reliability Engineering at the University of Maryland College Park working on large scale data integration, deep machine learning and artificial intelligence.
