Suranga Kahandawa is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist attached to South Asia Disaster Risk and Climate Change Unit based in the Colombo office. He is the Co-TTL of the Sri Lanka Climate Resilience Improvement Project (CRIP) and DPL with CATDDO. Suranga joined the bank in 2011 and he is the GFDRR focal point for Sri Lanka.
