Suzan is currently a consultant at the World Bank. She has 6 years of experience in the development sector starting with United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Culture Organization (UNESCO). She also has experience in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of projects in several local and international NGOs, including: Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), Welfare Association, Unite Lebanon Youth Project (ULYP), and the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA). In addition to development work, Suzan has experience in humanitarian relief and emergency crisis response during war and conflict turmoil. In December 2015, she assisted in the refugee crisis response project which was implemented by the Embassy of Canada in Lebanon and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the displaced Syrian refugees who were migrating to Canada.
In addition to her work at the World Bank, Suzan is a blogger on issues pertaining to humanitarian relief, emergency response, human rights advocacy and refugees’ issues on the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE).
Suzan is an American University of Beirut (AUB) graduate, specialized in Child Education, with a minor specialty in Creative English Writing (Class of 2008).  Her favorite hobbies are creative writing and discovering new cultures.
