Taibou Adamou Maiga has more than 25 years of work experience providing both technical assistance and investment projects activities outside and within the World Bank in the Africa region.

He joined the World Bank in March 2009 as country coordinator for the Water and Sanitation Program in Niger. In this position, He supported teams to develop and implement key tools for the governance of water and sanitation sector with private sector involvement.

He actively participate as author, to several publications on the water sector, advising on innovative approaches and paradigm shift in order to achieve better results.

His expertise covers technical and operational projects/programs mainstreaming water and sanitation standards gives him perfect understanding of sector challenges. Prior to this, he worked in an engineering consulting firm where He led various technical studies and supervision of construction work, technical infrastructure audits and technical expertise which gave him skills to lead larger and cross-cutting teams.
