Talajeh Livani is a Social Development Specialist at the World Bank Group with over a decade of experience working in low-, middle-, and high-income countries, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa and South Asia regions. Her research and operational experience are in the areas of gender, social inclusion, and social protection. She previously worked at, among others, the UN Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Talajeh has a doctorate in International Development from the University of Maryland-College Park and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
