Yi Yang (Nina) is an operations analyst with over 9 years of professional experience in urban transport planning and management. She joined the World Bank Office, Beijing in 2010 and has been involved in the preparation and implementation of more than 15 urban transport projects in East Asia Pacific. Her primary area of focus is traffic management, public transport development and intelligent transport system (ITS). Recently, she led a study on gender and ITS funded by the Umbrella Facility of Gender Equality which evaluated the gender impacts of ITS and provided recommendations to better incorporate gender considerations in ITS planning, design and operation.
