Yueqing is currently working as an Extended Consultant at the World Bank’s Development Prospects Group. As part of the Emerging Trends team, she contributes to the research and analysis of emerging economic and financial trends and prospects, including capital flows to developing countries, banking sector development, emerging corporate finance, macro-economic data analysis and the economic development of China. She has an MA degree and is currently a PhD candidate in economics at the George Washington University. She specializes in applied time series econometrics and the economic development of China. Prior to joining the Bank, Yueqing worked for the People’s Bank of China for 5 years, first in the research department and then the governor’s office.
