Maureen Agena

ICT for Agriculture Consultant
Maureen Agena is an ICT for Agriculture technical consultant in the Agriculture Global Practice based in Uganda where she is working on preparing a hackathon which aims to contribute to the transformation of the agricultural sector and youth engagement in agriculture through technology.
 
Prior to this, she worked on online communications in the World Bank’s Kenya country office, where, among other things, she helped with marketing the social networking tools, blogging, research and conceptualization of content. Maureen holds a Master of Science in Information Systems degree from partly Uganda Martyrs University and St. Mary’s University, Halifax Nova Scotia, and is currently completing a Master of Arts degree in Development Communication from Daystar University.
