Abel Lufafa is Practice Manager for the Agriculture and Food Global Practice at the World Bank. He has been involved in supporting countries across Africa, East Asia, and South Asia to design and implement programs in agriculture and rural development to reduce poverty. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked for the International Food Policy Research Institute and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture. Abel holds a Ph.D. degree from the College of Agricultural Sciences, Oregon State University.
