Alba Surís Coll-Vinent is a researcher at the World Bank since 2022. Passionate about leveraging novel data methodologies to tackle development challenges, she focuses on guiding countries in developing sustainable sectoral policies, particularly in the tourism sector. Prior to joining the World Bank, Alba worked in the economic and trade offices of various Spanish government agencies abroad, where she contributed to major trade policy negotiations and dispute resolutions. Alba holds a degree in International Business Economics from Pompeu Fabra University and an MBA in International Management from Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo. Alba is fluent in five languages and has lived and worked across three continents.
