Andrea Monteleone is a Payments Specialist with the Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure team in the Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice. His work covers different aspects of retail payments including fast payments, national payment strategies, government payments, and electronic payment acceptance. Prior to joining the World Bank, Andrea held payments strategy consulting and product management roles at Mastercard. He received his Master’s degrees in International Management from Università Bocconi and CEMS Global Alliance in Management education.
