Andrew Myburgh is a senior economist in the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which is the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Andrew’s work at the IFC focuses on how to better leverage the contribution of the private sector to health care systems in developing countries. Andrew focuses on regulatory reform, market development and the impact of IFC’s investments. He has over ten years’ experience advising leading private sector companies, as well as governments. He has worked in Latin America, Africa and Europe. Andrew received a Masters in Public Administration and International Development from Harvard University and has a number of publications in this field, including in the Journal of Law and Economics.
