Anna-Maria Bogdanova is a Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist for Latin America and Caribbean, leading the design and implementation of disaster risk management projects and programs and the hydromet agenda. Anna-Maria also provides support to GFDRR as the technical lead for the Hydromet and EWS Thematic Program. Anna-Maria also worked in the Russia Country Unit where she had been managing the country investment portfolio and knowledge program as a part of the country management team. A Russian national, Anna-Maria holds a master’s and bachelor’s degrees in International Economics from the Moscow State Linguistic University.
