Arastoo Khan is Additional Secretary, Economic Relations Division of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh. He is also the Focal Point for Pilot Program on Climate Resilience (PPCR) for Bangladesh. A graduate of John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, he spent 10 years at Finance Division, serving as the Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary in the Finance Division. He was responsible for formulating the National Budget of Bangladesh for over five years. He is responsible for all International Development Association (IDA) credit support to Bangladesh along with major interventions in water, power, education and local government sectors.
