Arun Kumar Dobhal joined the World Bank India office in July 2016 as the Senior Water & Sanitation Specialist. A Civil Engineering graduate with Masters in Environmental Engineering and Masters in Business Administration, he has over 27 years comprehensive experience in managing civil, water supply, sanitation and environmental sanitation projects and managing the national flagships programs on water, water quality and sanitation. Before joining the Bank, he worked with UNICEF as the WASH Specialist for the southern Indian states for 7 plus years and earlier as Project Manager and Technical Head for the Bank supported water and sanitation programs in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in India. He has got several national and international published papers to his credit and has contributed significantly in national and international conferences on water and sanitation.
