Arun Singh is an Energy Specialist with the World Bank’s Energy and Extractives Global Practice. Arun leads investment and analytical projects across the electricity value chain in selected countries in the Eastern and Southern Africa region, and specializes in providing support towards financial strengthening of electric utilities. Arun’s past experience includes supporting the development of market-based regulations for air pollution control and working as an engineer in the petrochemicals industry, both in India. Arun holds an MS in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
