Ashima Neb is Senior Governance Specialist in the Governance MENA Unit at the World Bank. Prior to joining the Bank in 2020, she has held various assignments with the Indian Tax Administration from 1999 to 2019 including on tax administration, international tax policy, dispute resolution and HR management. She has been the resident negotiator for India at the joint OECD-G 20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting 1.0 (BEPS) project. Her areas of interest include tax administration and tax policy reform, tax incentives, and gender in tax.
