Auke Lootsma is the Country Director in Yemen for the UNDP since August 2016. His career with UNDP began in 1994, in which he was the Country Director in Rwanda; Senior Recovery Advisor in Ukraine; Deputy Country Director (Programme) in Sudan; and Deputy Resident Representative (Programme) in Uganda. Prior to joining UNDP Yemen, Mr. Lootsma was the Deputy Country Director for Programme in South Sudan. Mr. Lootsma holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Development Economics.
