Boris joined the World Bank in August 2016 and is based in Chisinau, Moldova. Prior to this, he worked for the British Foreign Office for 13 years. Between 2010 and 2016, he worked as a Press & Public Affairs Officer (4 years) and then as a Strategic Communications Officer at the British Embassy in Moldova. Boris has a Diploma in Business Management and a BA in Applied Language and Translation Studies. He also studied for 1 year at the Diplomatic Academy within the British FCO. He speaks fluent Romanian, English, Russian, and a little bit of Spanish. Hobbies and interests include soccer, tennis, rock climbing, political studies, and history.
