Camilo leads the research and innovation work at the Better Than Cash Alliance, a UN-based partnership of over 60 governments, companies and international organizations that accelerates the global transition from cash to digital payments in order to drive inclusive growth and reduce poverty. Prior to joining the Alliance, Camilo held positions in the area of digital financial services for over a decade, including at the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP); the World Bank; GSMA in London; the UN Economic Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, and at Microsoft Labs in Bangalore
