Constantinos Taliotis joined the Cyprus Institute in 2018. Prior to this, he was employed at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden, where he completed his Ph.D. He contributed to the development of the first open-access Africa-wide bottom-up model with technology detail at the national level. He has also led the development of a comprehensive open-source energy systems model to support local authorities in long-term energy and climate planning for the Republic of Cyprus.
