Daniel Nogueira-Budny is a Senior Digital Development Specialist for Eastern and Southern Africa. He works on issues of GOVTECH/digital governance, decentralization, and open data/government. His professional background includes the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Center for Development Studies at the Central University of Venezuela. Nogueira-Budny holds a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University, a Master's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.
