Elias Giannakis holds a PhD in agricultural economics from the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. His expertise includes the development and application of macroeconomic and environmentally extended economic models for policy impact assessment and the non-market valuation of environmental resources. He has applied a series of evaluation methods such as general equilibrium models, system dynamics, cost-benefit analysis, and participatory processes.
