Gabriel Englander is an Economist in the Development Research Group, Sustainability and Infrastructure Unit. He received his B.S. from Ohio State University and his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining the World Bank, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Environmental Markets Lab at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research concerns wildlife conservation and marine fisheries. His research can be found on his website.
