Hannah Kim has over ten years of interdisciplinary experience in urban development, public finances, and decentralization. She currently is engaged in the management of the Bank’s program on urban development in Tanzania and Mozambique. Since joining the Bank in 2010, Hannah worked in strategy formulation, monitoring and evaluation, and macroeconomic policy in the Caribbean and East African countries, and since 2015 with the Governance Global Practice where she has been engaged in the Bank’s public sector reform program in Serbia, Indonesia, Nepal, and Argentina. Hannah brings experience on a range of issues at both national and subnational levels encompassing public sector reform, intergovernmental fiscal transfers, service delivery, and urban upgrading. Prior to joining the Bank, she managed an institutional capacity building trust fund at the Inter-American Development Bank. Hannah holds a MPA in Economics and Public Policy from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a BA in Political Science from Davidson College.
