Harvey Scorcia

Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative in Washington, IDB

Harvey Scorcia is a current member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) where he works for the Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative (ESCI) in Washington, DC. Previously he worked for the IDB transport division in the Venezuela and Bolivia Country Offices. Harvey is a Colombian national and a transport expert with 7 years of work experience. Harvey has worked in academia (research assistant at MIT), public sector (Chicago Transit Authority and Transport for London), private sector (Steer Davies Gleave), and multilateral organization (World Bank).  Harvey holds an M.S. in Transportation and a Master in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also earned a M.S. in Civil Engineering, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and a B.A. in Music (Classic Guitar Performance) from the Universidad de los Andes.
