Economist

Isolina Rossi, an Italian national, serves as the World Bank Country Economist covering Kosovo in the Macroeconomics, Trade & Investment (MTI) Global Practice. She is responsible for budget support and analytical programs in the areas of growth, fiscal policy and broader structural reforms in Kosovo and the wider Western Balkan region. In her Bank career, she has previously worked in West Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on operational and analytical work as well as policy dialogue on debt policy, macroeconomic management, and fiscal policy. Before joining MTI, she was an Economist in the IDA Strategy Unit in Washington DC, where she led and contributed to the design of IDA's debt policy. Isolina earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and an MPA from Columbia University in New York City.
