Javier Parada is a Junior Data Scientist with the Development Data Group. His focus is managing the curation, maintenance, update, documentation, and dissemination of environmental and climate data in the World Development Indicators (from food and agriculture to energy and greenhouse gas emissions). A Mexican national, he holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis and an MS in Economics from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas in Mexico City.
