Juan Bedoya is a Research Manager at IPA Colombia. Prior to IPA, He held positions in USAID's Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Activity in Colombia, the Department for Social Prosperity, CEDE of Los Andes University, and Fedesarrollo. In addition, he has consulted with the World Bank on projects in different countries in Latin America and Europe. His research interests include education, social protection, poverty, and governance. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Development Economics, World Development and Economica. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Cantabria a M.Sc. in Economics for the Los Andes University.
