Juan has worked in projects in Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina as social development specialist at the World Bank Group since September 2022. Previously, he supported the Social Sustainability and Inclusion unit in LAC as an STC on citizen engagement, citizen security and the implementation of the Environmental and Social Framework.
Prior to joining the Bank, he worked as program coordinator for Colombia and LAC at the Berg Institute for Human Rights, were he led the engagement with a broad range of stakeholders, supported capacity-building and community-driven productive projects for the reinsertion and socioeconomic development of victims of the Colombian armed conflict, and took an active role in developing the editorial business unit - including the edition and translation of several publications. // Juan holds a Master´s degree in Dynamics of Cooperation, Conflict and Negotiation in International Relations and Diplomacy, and a Master´s in International Business Management.
