Lídia is a researcher at the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC). Her research focuses on migration and discrimination by gender and race. She has published her work in several scientific journals, such as Journal of Development Economics, Economica, Oxford Bulletins of Economics and Statistics, The B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy (Contributions), Regional Science and Urban Economics, Empirical Economics, World Bank Research Observer and LABOU. Lida received her Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence in 2006.
