Luda Bujoreanu is a Digital Development professional with 15+ year of diverse experience who worked in 20+ countries on initiatives funded by the World Bank, IFC, UNDP, U.S. Trade Development Agency and USAID.  Most of her experience is in digital government and telecom sector, with the recent focus on digital identification. 
 
She joined the World Bank in 2009, after spending a decade working for private sector consulting and NGOs. She is involved in every aspect of World Bank work, including design and supervision of lending operations, advisory services and technical assistance in East and West Africa, Central Asia and Europe.  She has worked with client countries on digital development strategies and implementation of ICT and data driven solutions in key sectors. After eight years with the ICT unit and the Innovation Labs of the World Bank, she joined the ID4D Initiative team in 2017.  She is a recognized innovator and a recipient of multiple corporate awards who has a passion for leveraging digital technologies for solving development challenges. 
 
Bujoreanu has a MPA degree from Indiana University (2001) and a MBA degree from Uzbek University of World Economy and Diplomacy (1999).
