Luis Viguria is an international professional with more than 14 years of experience working with young people and entrepreneurs around the world. He combines a solid knowledge of the international development sector with a high level of ethic and field experience. He has showcased his proven leadership skills, by representing his country, world region and international organization in diverse high level activities and forums with decision makers from the governmental, multilateral and private sector. At the age of 35 years old, Luis became the CEO of the Young Americas Business Trust, a position that he took with great responsibility and leadership.
Luis Viguria was born and raised in Peru and graduated in Social Sciences with a minor in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and graduated from the Global Master of Arts Program in International Relations at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University. Together with his wife Emilie, they have a wonderful son.
