Magda Stepanyan holds two master’s degrees: in Sociology (from Yerevan State University, Armenia) and in Public Administration (from Leiden University, the Netherlands), as well as the International Certificate in Risk Management (from The Institute of Risk Management, UK). Her areas of expertise include capacity development, disaster risk governance, risk management, civil protection, recovery planning, M&E and strategic management of non-profit organizations. She has more than 15 years management and consultancy experience, working with organizations such as the EC, UN, WB, Red Cross, and many others.
