Monish Patolawala is the CFO of GE Healthcare, an $18 billion business unit of General Electric that provides transformational medical technologies and solutions to the global healthcare industry.
GE Healthcare supports customers in over 100 countries with a broad range of services and systems, from diagnostic imaging and digital healthcare solutions through to molecular diagnostics and life-sciences. Monish is based at GE Healthcare’s global headquarters in Chicago and was appointed to his current role in May 2015.
Monish has been with GE for over 20 years and has extensive experience of business transformation and delivering outstanding financial and operational results. Prior to joining GE Healthcare, he was CFO for GE Transportation where he helped transform the business from a North American “rail” division to a global transportation equipment and solutions provider and played a key role in the business’ expansion into adjacencies for growth, such as Mining, Signaling and Battery systems.
Monish is a certified Chartered Accountant with experience at KPMG prior to his time at GE. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce in Bangalore, India.
