Paul Quarles van Ufford (PhD) is Regional Advisor Social Policy for UNICEF West and Central Africa. In this capacity, he provides oversight and guidance to UNICEF social policy teams in the region. His fields of work include social protection, child poverty, public finance management, and local governance. Prior to joining this position, Paul worked as Chief Social Policy with UNICEF in Tanzania, Zambia, Vietnam, and Senegal, as well as researcher at the University of Amsterdam.
