P. Scott Ozanus is Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of KPMG in the U.S. and Americas region – a dynamic team of more than 40,000 professionals who deliver audit, tax and advisory services to clients across the globe. In the U.S., where he also serves as Chief Operating Officer, Scott chairs KPMG’s Management Committee and sits on its Board of Directors. With a career spanning more than 30 years in professional services, Scott is a respected voice on a range of issues, including M&A, tax strategy, operational excellence and organizational strategy. He has extensive experience serving multinational private equity and hedge fund clients within the Alternative Investments market.
Scott holds a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Texas A&M University; is a licensed CPA in Texas and Oklahoma; and is a member of both the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
