Mr. Pankaj Gupta is the World Bank’s Regional Director for the Infrastructure Practice Group in the South Asia Region, where he is responsible for providing strategic vision and direction, with a focus on innovation and private public partnerships in the delivery of effective infrastructure services, and on moving towards greater resilience.
Mr. Gupta's most recent assignment was Chief Investment Officer in the Global Upstream Department at IFC, where he helped accelerate the scale and the speed of IFC’s Upstream implementation. Prior to joining IFC he was an Adviser in the World Bank Infrastructure Vice-Presidency helping to design innovative private sector programs.
