Paul is a consultant at the World Bank, where he supports education teams in East Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe, by doing quantative analysis. He is specialized in the study of student assessment and education quality. In the past, Paul also worked at the French treasury and the European Investment Bank. He has led projects supporting macroeconomic modeling for client country with the UNDP and the OECD.
Paul has authored several books and studies on education quality, on Turkey, Romania, Russia or Peru among others,
Paul’s academic background is in economics. He obtained from Paris I university a Ph.D. in economics and a Master in economic modelling. He has also a Master's degree in engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.
