Rabia Ali

Human Development Economist

Rabia Ali is a human development economist with the World Bank's East Asia and Pacific education team. She is currently team lead for the Bank’s education sector portfolio for Mongolia, with tasks spanning early childhood development and basic education. She also works with the Bank's health and education teams in China. In past years, Rabia conducted research and analytic work on improving access and quality of education and health service delivery in various middle- and low-income countries in south and east Asia and eastern Europe. She worked on a flagship report on deepening health system reform in China and the 2012 World Development Report on gender and economic development. Rabia holds a Master in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
