Reyes Aterido

Reyes Aterido is a Development Economist specializing in labor and private sector issues. Since beginning her professional career on economics in the Inter-American Development Bank and later in the World Bank, she has conducted econometric analysis and published articles related to firm performance and firm dynamics, informality, access to finance and gender, and training among others. In addition, she participated in Bank operations to enhance country specific competiveness. Previously, she worked in the private sector in agricultural business, in education in rural areas, and in the non-profit sector (in connection to the development of non-cognitive skills among inner-city students). She received her Master’s Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.
