Salvatore Lo Bello is an Economist at the Research Department (Labor Markets Division) of the Bank of Italy. He is a macroeconomist specialized in labor markets issues, especially related to inequality and intergenerational persistence. He has been an author of a World Bank paper on the skill content of occupations in developing countries. He holds a PhD in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain).
