Sam Desiere is a senior researcher at HIVA, the research institute for work and society of the University of Leuven. His current research involves the evaluation of (active) labor market policies. In 2015 he obtained a PhD in agricultural economics from Ghent University which focused on data quality of household surveys in developing countries.
