Simona Palummo is a knowledge management and communications specialist, and a consultant in the World Bank’s Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice. She currently supports knowledge sharing and awareness raising activities for the Disability-Inclusion team led by the WBG Global Disability Advisor. Prior to her current job, Simona coordinated knowledge management initiatives of the Social Inclusion Global Solutions Group and the Poverty and Social Impact Analysis Trust Fund. Previously she worked with the Connect4Climate campaign, a global partnership program and social media initiative which connects individuals, civil society, and organizations to take on climate change. Before joining the World Bank, Simona held various communications and marketing positions including film production, web editing, and press relations. She holds a Master’s degree in communications for international relations from IULM University in Milan.
