Syed Usman Javaid is an Operations Officer with the World Bank Pakistan Country Management Unit and Program Coordinator for the KP, FATA and Balochistan Multi-Donor Trust Fund. He looks after projects pertaining to Agriculture, Governance, Macro-economics, and Water from a Country Management perspective. In addition, he manages mainstreaming of activities to help address plastic pollution across the Pakistan portfolio. He has introduced the 3 Ps (People, Policy, and Practice) framework in this regard that suggests engaging people, facilitating practices, and enforcing policies together is needed to address plastic pollution.
