Theodoros Zachariadis is an Associate Professor of Energy and Environmental Policy. In 2015-2020 he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Geotechnical Sciences and Environmental Management of the Cyprus University of Technology. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Environment Agency. He is the recipient of the 2009 Research Prize of the Republic of Cyprus and the 2019 Environmental Prize by the President of Cyprus. His work focuses on bridging engineering and economic approaches for the formulation of effective energy and climate policies.
