Umou S. Al-Bazzaz is a communication specialist to the World Bank's External and Corporate Relations, Operational Communications department (ECROC). She has several years of experience in communications outreach/engagement, learning, development communication and research. Umou earned an undergraduate degree in communication from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, USA and master’s degree in Public Communication from American University in Washington, DC. She is interested in public relations, the art and science of strategic communication, public affairs and training.
